As we approach winter, the Village is quiet again. The Nevada Dept of Transportation (NDOT) is finally winding down the repaving and road construction on many of the Village roads. Lots of drainage pipe replacement and installation has also been completed and by the end of September new electrical poles will have been installed by Nevada Energy along a portion of HWY 28 near Sand Harbor. It has definitely been a challenge driving around town.
Fewer listings are coming to the market now that winter is just around the corner. We had 8 new listings within the last 7 days: 2 condos, 1 free standing unit, and 5 single family homes ranging in price from $725,000 to $7,950,000.
2 single family homes are back on the market ranging from $2.2M to $8M. 3 single family homes and 2 condos have reduced their selling prices. 2 single family homes had a price increase. 12 properties have gone into escrow in the last week. 3 properties have sales pending. 9 properties closed escrow in the last 7 days ranging from $399,900 to $7M
As you can see, there is still real estate activity in the Village.
